What happens after we have known the ways of God (which is inexhaustible) and are ready to obey? We must constantly play in our brains the music of God’s promises as it pertains to what we are looking up to God for. For example, this Scripture: – “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good”? (Num. 23:19).
Wake up in the morning, open your Bible, read this verse a “million” times until you can see your victory in a “figure”. What do I mean? Figurative sense is the most powerful kind of sense. Some call it perspective. Look at this: – “Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure” (Heb.11:19). We receive miracles figuratively. This means that the brain should be trained to assume that even if the worst happens, God can turn it around. This is a very difficult mind process to attain but it’s the key. God will do it.
